この装置は大型船用に設計されたものです。ダビットおよび上部踊り場の下に装備されているレールによって、双方が同時に平行して格納されます。
巻上げ、格納、降下は舷側に設けられたコントロールスタンドのレバーを操作することによって、ワンタッチでスムーズに自動格納されます。

This ladder equipment is so designed that it may be used for large-scaled ships.
Both ends of the ladder can be simultaneously stowed in parallel by the rails provided under davit and upper ladder platform.
The ladder can be smoothly and automatically lowered, hoisted and stowed by simple operation of a lever of control stand provided at a ship side.
