格納スペースが少なくてすみます。
コフインと呼ばれる箱の中に舷梯が低く格納されるのは、万一喫水が上って波に洗われても舷梯の破損は全く生じません。
従来のスライド式舷梯と異なる点としてNo.2ラダーが伸びる際、ワイヤーの索取りにより強制作動させているのでよりスムーズにスライドします。
舷梯の傾斜角度の変化と同時に、舷梯の伸縮が行われますので比較的短時間内に目的の長さに出来ます。
